- Description:
The existing Van Stone process facilities at Colville, Washington are to be dismantled and moved to the MAX Project (Trout Lake) 60 kilometres southeast of Revelstoke, BC. At Trout Lake, the Crusher, Transfer Tower, Conveyor Gallery, and Concentrator will be re-assembled for a Phase I capacity of 500 tonnes per day.
- Scope:
SDE is designing the concrete foundations in accordance with current codes and to accommodate geometry of new plant layout. Existing structural steel design was reviewed to meet current code and snow load at the MAX site. A program of modifications is being developed to implement after the buildings are re-erected at the MAX site. SDE is also assisting with procurement of building steel and miscellaneous other elements.
